He wrote, “We will never stop raising voice on every platform against the arbitrary arrest and inhuman behavior of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that the wife of a political prisoner is imprisoned only to break his courage. The whole country stands firmly with Imran Khan, and we will never give up.”
According to the press release, the former first woman of Pakistan has been accused of politics and has been sentenced to seven years in jail. Since his detention in 2024, he has suffered to torture and other cruel, inhuman or derogatory behavior, including serving food contaminated with hydrochloric acid, unhealthy and shut down in a dirty closet, depriving of medical care and staying in solitude for a long time. This imprisonment is part of an attempt to break her and her husband mentally and put a psychological pressure on Imran Khan’s wife.
