There is big news for the youth preparing for government jobs. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued admit cards for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer – Acio) Grade -II/Executive Recruitment Examination. Candidates can now download their admit card by visiting the official website mha.gov.in.
This recruitment is a great opportunity for the youth of the country who dream of serving in the intelligence department. Tier-1 exam will be held on 16, 17 and 18 September 2025.
Recruitment will be done on so many posts in examination
Through this recruitment campaign, a total of 3,717 vacancies will be filled in the Intelligence Bureau. These posts are distributed at different centers all over India. Every year lakhs of candidates participate in this exam and are selected after strict competition.
What will be the exam pattern?
Tier-1 exam will be in online mode and a total of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) will be asked. The subjects appearing in the exam will be as follows-
- Current Affairs
- General Studies
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Logical/Reasoning Ability
- English language
Each question will be of 1 point, but remember -negative marking of 4 (0.25) points will be applicable on the wrong answer. The total duration of the examination has been fixed at 1 hour.

Candidates receiving minimum cut-off marks in Tier-I will be called for Tier-II up to 10 times the number of vacancies. In the Tier-II exam, the candidate is required to get a minimum of 33% marks (17 out of 50). After this, based on the joint performance of Tier-I and Tier-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III ie interview.
How to download the admit card?
1. First go to the official website mha.gov.in.
2. Click on the link “Recruitment for Acio Grade II/Executive” here.
3. Now enter your user ID and password on the login page.
4. After login, you will get the option of admit card download.
5. Download the admit card and take out the print and take it to the examination center.
