Skin disease is now involved in serious diseases, WHO considers sunscreen and moisturizer necessary medicine

Skin Diseases: In today’s bad lifestyle and changing weather, we are all facing problems related to some kind of skin. Such as acne, itching, allergies, ruff skin or dryness. Earlier they were considered only common problems, but now the World Health Organization (WHO) has included skin diseases in the category of serious illness.

This decision is news of relief for crores of people struggling with skin disease. The WHO has recently taken a big step and has also included sunscreen and moisturizer in the list of necessary medicines. Now these will not only be considered a part of the treatment, not just cosmetic products.

Sunscreen and moisturizer required for treatment

WHO says that sunscreen and moisturizers are necessary not just to enhance the skin, but to protect and treat many serious skin diseases and treat them. Especially people who have albinism or atopic dermatitis have become essential medicines. Now the government and health organizations will be able to get these products available like medicine, so that patients will get it at a low price.

How serious can skin diseases be?

Many people consider skin diseases to be common, but some diseases are so serious that they can bother or become fatal. Common skin diseases are considered pimples, itching and rash, allergies, eczema and alopecia aartita. At the same time, serious skin diseases are said to be psoriasis, rosesia, vitiligo and melanoma. WHO believes that if these diseases are identified in the beginning and the right treatment is found then the situation can be handled.

Preparation for global action plan

WHO is now going to take more steps in this direction. Next year WHO will present a Global Action Plan (Global Action Plan), which aims to raise awareness about skin diseases worldwide, make treatment easier and make cheap medicines available. CEO Jennifer Austin, CEO of an organization called Global Skin, said that this move of WHO will reduce the cost of treatment and will provide relief to patients of skin diseases. The biggest advantage of this decision of WHO is that now poor and middle class people, troubled by skin diseases, will also be able to get treatment at low cost.
