Apollo Tyres Shares Rise: The sponsor of the Indian cricket team (BCCI) jersey will now be Apollo Tires. Following its official announcement on Tuesday, 16 September, on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, the company’s stock witnessed a tremendous rise. In the intra-day business, Apollo Tires shares jumped by 2.50 percent to Rs 499 and this Nifty Midcap joined the top gainers of 150.
At around 9:29 am, Apollo Tires’s stock was trading 0.85 percent to Rs 490.95. In comparison, the BSE Sensex remained at 82,623.34 with a slight increase of 0.20 percent.
What is the agreement with BCCI?
Apollo tires have signed a 3 -year agreement with the BCCI, under which the company’s logo will appear on the Indian cricket team’s jersey and on the right arm. The partnership took place at a time when the BCCI canceled the agreement with Dream 11. In fact, the Government of India recently banned many betting apps, after which the sponsorship deal of Dream 11 had to be finished.
Under the new agreement, Apollo Tires has offered to give Rs 4.5 crore to BCCI for every match. This Dream is more than an offer of Rs 4 crore per match of 11. This agreement will remain valid till three years i.e. 2027.
Apollo Tires involvement with sports
This is not the first time Apollo Tires have taken a big step in sports sponsorship. The company has also been associated with the Indian Super League (ISL) and has also partnered with Europe’s football clubs such as Manchester United and Borusia Monchenglada. Now this agreement with the Indian cricket team will further increase the brand visibility of the company.
