In the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) election 2025, this time Aryan Mann of ABVP has won the victory. He managed to capture the post of President in the election of Delhi University Students Union. Aryan Mann is originally from Bahadurgarh, Haryana. He did B.Com from Hansraj College in 2025. Currently, Masters from Library Science at Delhi University. His grandfather was the head of Srichand Maan Lowa Seventeen Khap.
The counting of Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) election 2025-26 was held peacefully on Friday (September 19). According to the final results, Aryan Mann was the winner with 28841 votes out of 59882 votes for the post of President, while Joshleen Nandita Chaudhary finished second with 12645 votes.
Rahul Jhansla won the post of vice president
Out of the total 59869 votes received for the post of vice -president, Rahul Jhansla was the winner after getting 29339 votes while Govind Tanwar finished second after getting 20547 votes. Kunal Chaudhary was the winner after getting 23779 votes out of the total 59863 votes received on the post of Secretary, while Kabir finished second after getting 16117 votes. Deepika Jha was the winner by securing 21825 votes out of a total of 59919 votes in the post of Joint Secretary, while Lavkush Bhadana finished second after getting 17380 votes.
How many candidates were there for the post of President and Vice President?
Chief Electoral Officer, appointed for DUSU Election 2025-26, Prof. Raj Kishore Sharma said, “This time there were 9 candidates for the post of President, 3 for the post of Vice President, 4 for the post of Secretary and 5 for the post of Joint Secretary.” He further said, “Out of the total 59882 votes received for the president, Anjali got a total of 5385, Anuj Kumar 1028, Aryan Mann 28841, 28841, Divyanshu Singh Yadav to Divyanshu Singh Yadav, 1513 to Joshanin Nandita Chaudhary, Rahul Kumar. 724 votes were received by 724 votes, Yogesh Meena 514 and Abhishek Kumar 535 votes.
He told that 3175 students chose NOTA for the post of president. Giving a detailed description of the total 59869 votes for the post of vice president, he said that Govind Tanwar got a total of 20547, Rahul Jhansla 29339 and Sohan Kumar got 4163 votes. NOTA was given 5820 votes for the post of Vice President. A total of 59863 votes were received for the post of Secretary, out of which Abhinandana candidate got 9535, Kabir 16117, Kunal Chaudhary 23779 and Mohit got a total of 3067 votes.
