EPFO PF Passbook Lite: There are all the servants in the country. Almost everyone has PF. Every month the money is deducted from the salary in the PF account. But it is not easy to check PF balance. There is often a mess in the login, sometimes the server of the portal does not even have a message. EPFO has now launched a new feature to eliminate this problem. Its name is Passbook Lite.
Which will show the details of PF balance directly from the members portal. There will be no need to visit the login or separate passbook website. Just a few easy steps will have complete details of balance and transaction. Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandavia launched it and said that this feature will give relief to crores of employees and make the process of checking PF very easy.
What is passbook light?
Passbook light feature is the easiest way to see PF balance for employees. Now members can see their contribution, money withdrawn and the rest of the balance by visiting the EPFO portal directly. Earlier, we had to login on a separate portal to check the PF passbook. Which was sometimes difficult due to technical problems.

So now the passbook light is a solution to this problem. Now the load on the passbook portal at the moment will also be reduced. With the arrival of passbook light, employees will be able to see their information directly without losing time.

How to use?
For the passbook light, you have to go to the official website of EPFO www.epfindia.gov.in. Then you have to select Passbook Lite. After this, OTP will come on mobile after entering UAN number. The PF passbook will open on the screen as soon as OTP is submitted. In this, the complete account of balance and transaction will be seen. This process is quite easy. Earlier there was a long process to check PF passbook.
But now this problem will not be there. So let us tell you that EPFO has also made the transfer certificate i.e. Annexure K available on the members portal. Now on changing the job, employees can download it in PDF format themselves. This will make the transfer transparent and will increase the confidence that PF balance and service periods have been transferred to the new account correctly.
