‘Return in 24 hours, don’t leave America’, Meta and Microsoft advisory on Trump’s ‘Visa Bomb’

After the implementation of new strict rules on immigration by President Donald Trump in the US, big tech companies such as Meta and Microsoft have advised their H-1B visa holders not to leave the US. Companies have warned that there may be difficulty in re -entry when going out. Companies have told their employees that those who are not in the country, return to the country before the time limit of 21 September within 24 hours.

Impact of Trump’s decision
Trump on Friday signed a government order as part of an important development, which would affect Indian professionals working on H-1B visas in the US. Under this order, immigrants working in ‘Special Business’ will not be allowed to enter the US for not paying US $ 100,000 with H-1B applications. This order will be effective from 21 September 2025 at 12:01 pm.

The lawyers and companies of immigration affairs are warning the H-1B visa holders or their family members who are currently out of the US for work or holiday. He has advised such people to return to America before the order came into force on 21 September. After this step, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta and JP Morgan have issued advisory for their employees. Companies have said that employees should stay in America and avoid traveling abroad at the moment. Employees who are out of America have been advised to return before the September 21 deadline.

People out of America can get trapped!
Experts have said that they return to the country within the next 24 hours, otherwise they can be prevented from returning. Eminent immigration lawyer Seser Mehta, who lives in New York, said in a post on ‘X’, “Those who are out of America for H-1B visa holder business or holidays will not be trapped if they are not able to enter before midnight of September 21. It may be that the H-1B visa holder in India may have missed the deadline, because a direct flight from India will not come on time. Mehta said, “The H-1B visa holders present in India can reach California before midnight of September 21, 2025.”

David Bear, director of ‘Cato Institute’s Immigration Studies’, said in a post on ‘X’ that Indian H-1B employees have given ‘immense contribution’ to the US, including hundreds of billions of tax taxes, crores of dollars of fees and trillion dollars services. He said, ‘Indians are one of the most calm, intelligent community living here. And what are we giving in return? Badnami and discrimination … ‘

He said, now Trump has signed a government order, under which this population has been officially declared villain. Indian is probably the most law -followed, hardworking, peace loving community in the entire American history!
