After the recent disaster in Nandanagar area of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, state Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the spot today (20 September 2025) to take stock of relief and rescue operations. Pushkar Singh Dhami met the affected families and assured them of necessary assistance.
After the recent disaster in Nandanagar area of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, life is gradually returning to track. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the affected areas on Saturday and took stock of the latest conditions. During the inspection, CM Dhami inquired about the progress of relief and rescue operations and directed the district administration to take prompt action.
Trust to disaster affected people of all possible help
He clearly said that the victims should not have any kind of inconvenience. The Chief Minister met the affected families directly and assured them of all possible help. He said that the state government is fully standing with them in this hour of disaster and all necessary resources are being made available on priority.
“Will take concrete steps towards dealing with disaster”
Apart from this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the relief camps and reviewed the facilities like food, drinking water, medical, sanitation and temporary housing. The Chief Minister also assured that efforts are on to normalize life as soon as possible. CM Dhami said that concrete steps will be taken towards permanent solution to deal with disasters in future.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with senior administrative officers, teams of Disaster Management Department and public representatives were also present during this visit.
