The wait for millions of candidates who appeared in the prelims examination of IBPS PO/MT recruitment is now going to end soon. The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) is going to declare the result of preliminary examination of probationary officer (PO) and management traine (MT) posts soon. After this examination held in August, now the candidates are eagerly waiting for the result. It is expected that the results will be released this week.
IBPS will upload the PO Prelims Result 2025 on its official website ibps.in. Candidates are advised to keep their registration number and password prepared in advance. As soon as the result link is active, candidates will be able to download their score card immediately by logging. The process of downloading the result is very easy.
How many posts are being recruited?
Through this recruitment campaign, appointments of probationary officer and management trainees are to be made on more than 5000 posts. The selected candidates will get jobs in the major public sector banks of the country like Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Indian Bank, UCO Bank etc.
What will happen in the scorecard?
The result scorecard of IBPS will contain the name of the candidate, the details of the exam, section wise marks, total marks, cut-off and qualifying status. This scorecard will prove to be very important in the future process. Candidates who are selected in prelims will now be able to appear in the next phase i.e. Mains exam.
Next stop after prelims
Prelims examination was conducted on August 17, 23 and 24. Now after the result is released, eligible candidates will be called for the Mains examination to be held on October 12. After this, there will be interviews and personality tests in the final phase. Candidates who are successful in all stages will be appointed as PO/MT in public sector banks.
