The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA final, intermediate and foundation exams to be held in January 2025. This is big news for the students who have been waiting for a long time because now their exam dates have been fixed. This time the exams will start from the second week of January and will run for the whole month.
According to the program released by ICAI, the final course Group 1 examinations will be held on 5, 7 and 9 January 2025. At the same time, Group 2 examinations will be held on 11, 13 and 16 January 2025.
Intermediate course examinations
- The examination for Intermediate Group 1 will be held on 6, 8 and 10 January 2025. While Group 2 examinations will be held on 12, 15 and 17 January 2025.
Foundation course examinations
- All papers of Foundation course will be taken on 18, 20, 22 and 24 January 2025.
When will other exams be done
Apart from this, International Taxation-Valuation Examination (INTT-T) will be on 13 and 16 January 2025. At the same time, insurance and risk management technical examination will be held on 9, 11, 13 and 16 January 2025.

ICAI has made it clear that all examinations will be held in the same shift. Most of the exams will run from 2 pm to 5 pm. Some papers like final exam paper 6 and INTT -T exam will be from 2 pm to 6 pm as their duration will be 4 hours. At the same time, the duration of paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination will be only 2 hours.
Important things for students
- The admit card will be uploaded on the official website of ICAI a few weeks before the examination.
- Candidates will have to reach the examination center ahead of time.
- It will be strictly forbidden to carry mobile phones, smart watch and electronic gadgets.
- During the examination, only ID proof and necessary stationery will be allowed to be taken along.
