The centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Vijayadashami festival are being celebrated in Nagpur with great pomp. Former President of India Ramnath Kovind and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat are present as the chief guests at the ceremony. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari are also attended by the ceremony.
On this occasion, the message sent by the Dalai Lama was also read, in which he greeted the Sangh. Former President Ram Nath Kovind also expressed his views in the program and emphasized social responsibilities and service towards the country. This centenary celebrations of the RSS and the Vijayadashami Utsav Sangh are dedicated to the service, patriotism and social contribution.

On this occasion, Ramnath Kovind said, “Today’s Vijayadashami festival is a symbol of the centenary of RSS. The holy land of Nagpur is associated with the great personalities of modern India like Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar.”
The former President described the RSS as a “sacred, huge vat tree”, which brings the people of India together, makes them feel proud and progress.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s big statement
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that a wave of reverence and concentration spread across India throughout India in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, while terrorists in Pahalgam asked for religion and killed innocent citizens. He also said that the contribution of the army has been seen globally and it is also necessary to face constitutional militant elements within the country.

Bhagwat said that there are constitutional militant elements inside the country, but due to the strict action of the government and awareness of the hollowness and cruelty of the Naxalite ideology among the people, the militant Naxalite movement has been controlled to a great extent. He said that a comprehensive action plan is required to ensure justice, development, goodwill and sympathy in these areas.
Bhagwat said that by becoming self -sufficient and aware of global unity, we have to ensure that dependence should not become our compulsion and we can work according to our will. He clarified that there is no alternative to indigenous and self -reliance.
