These Indian cricketers have played in the foreign league before Ravichandran Ashwin, many big names included in the list

Former off -spinner of the Indian cricket team, R Ashwin will become the first Indian player to play in Australia’s Big Bash League. He has been signed by Sydney Thunder for 2026 season.

Yuvraj Singh has played for Toronto Nationals in Canada’s Global T20 League in 2020. He scored 153 runs in 6 matches for Toronto Nationals and also took two wickets. Despite this magnificent all -round performance, he did not appear to play in this league again.

Dinesh Karthik is the only Indian player to play in the South African League SA20. He played 2024 season for Parl Royals. After this, he has not been seen playing in another foreign league till now.

Shikhar Dhawan retired in August last year. Three months later, he was seen playing in the Nepal Premier League. After that he has not played in any other foreign league till now.
