Russian President Vladimir Putin targeted the US on Thursday (October 2). He said that America wants to end the energy relations with Russia by putting pressure on India and China, but such a step can have the opposite effect.

Putin warned that if the US imposes more fees on Russia’s business partners, it will increase global prices and the US Federal Reserve will have to keep the interest rates high. Recently, the US has imposed an additional 25% tariff on India’s exports, due to which this tax has increased to 50%.

Russian President said this big thing

The Russian President said, “India and China will not let them be insulted.” He clearly said that if India stops buying energy from Russia, it will have to bear the loss. But the people and leadership of India will never let this happen. Putin expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that Modi will not take any such step.

Putin also questioned America’s dual policy. He said that the US itself buys uranium rich in Russia, but asks the rest of the countries to stay away from Russian energy.

America is constantly criticizing India

This statement comes at a time when America is constantly criticizing India that it is buying oil from Russia. Former President Donald Trump and his colleagues also tried to pressurize India several times. Trump’s advisor Peter Navarro even called India to “Maharaja of Tariff” and accused Modi of being close to Putin and Xi Jinping.

Even before this, Putin had warned America that India and China cannot talk in language like colonial era. He said, “Now the time of colonialism is over. Ancient civilizations like India and China are not going to bow down to any ultimatum.” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov also said that countries like India and China will never accept the pressure of America.
