These officers are being sent to these officers in which they have been claimed that they have stolen sensitive data from Oracle E-Business Suite and if the ransom is not given then this data will be made public. The most worrying thing is that the relationship of these Mails is being linked to the notorious Clop Rainmware Group, which has already carried out a big cyber attack.
How to attack threatened
According to Google, hackers are trying to intimidate the top officials of the companies through email that they have financial and operational data. However, Google has made it clear that no such evidence has been found so far that it can be proved that any data has actually been stolen. It is believed that this is a conspiracy to introduce companies only by intimidating the companies. At present, Google has not shared information about how many companies or officers have received such mail.
