The company’s shares increased from 6.40 per share to Rs 12 per share. In the month of September alone, it got a jump of 87 percent. The performance of the stock was so amazing that from September 11 to October 3, there was an upper circuit in it continuously.
Break on eight months fall
This speed also broke the process of decline in the last eight months. This has brought great relief to the shareholders, who were waiting for the stock to recover again. Even though the stock has made a strong comeback last month, it has to go a longer way as it is still 88 % below its record high level 105 per share recorded in December 2023. Apart from this, it is still 69 percent below its 52-week high level 39 per share.
Share made a lot of profit from investors
The shares of Mercury Trade Links have continued their lead in October. In Wednesday’s business, it put up an upper circuit of 5 percent and the price reached 12.61 per share. This is the 15th consecutive day when the stock closed on the upper price band. During this time, it has increased from Rs 6.12 per share to 106 % multibagger return. However, in the last three months, the stock has fallen by about 2 percent, 30 percent in 6 months and 69 percent in 1 year.
In contrast, there has been a tremendous jump of 490 percent in the shares of Mercury Trade Links in three years and 519 percent in 5 years. According to trendline’s latest shareholding data, general shareholders have a 70.8 percent stake in the company, while foreign portfolio investors (FPI) have a 29.2 percent stake. There is no stake in the company of promoters since June quarter.
