Sandhya Shantaram was known for her brilliant performance and skilled dance in Marathi and Hindi. She was the third wife of famous filmmaker V. Shantaram. He married Sandhya a month after divorcing his second wife Jayashree. The two worked together in the film ‘Pinjra’.
