EPFO is eyeing corruption
Many times information is found that EPFO employees demand bribe to work as subscribers. Due to less information, people also pay bribe. EPFO has warned both its employee and subscribers to stop such incidents. Also said that any kind of bribe transactions should be avoided. If you are having any kind of corruption, then inform the EPFO. The EPFO has clearly stated that they are eyeing those who take bribes, and they are preparing to take strict action against those who commit corruption.
EPFO’s appeal
With its social media posts, EPFO has appealed to its employees and subscribers to avoid taking any kind of bribe. There is no need to give one rupee to anyone to take advantage of EPFO facilities. All the facilities of EPFO are given for free. So if someone asks for a bribe to do your work, then complain about this incident to the EPFO.

If corruption is happening to you or if you ask for a bribe from you, then you can complain to the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO). For this, you can complain online by visiting EPFO portal or you can send your complaint to the department via post.
