A lot of buzz was created about ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ even before its release. The film hit the theaters on October 2, on the occasion of Dussehra. The film also had to clash with Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari. But Varun Dhawan starrer film proved to be quite pale in comparison to Rishabh Shetty’s movie.
Here, ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ made a bang with the collection of Rs 61.85 crore on the very first day of its release and proved that this film will not only earn huge sums at the box office but will also make many records in its name. As expected, ‘Kantara Chapter 1′ has created a lot of buzz in 7 days of its release. It has not only earned more than double its budget but has also filled the makers’ coffers with currency notes within a week.
Talking about the collection of the film, its first day earning was Rs 61.85 crore. It collected Rs 45.4 crore on the second day, Rs 55 crore on the third day, Rs 63 crore on the fourth day, Rs 31.5 crore on the fifth day and Rs 34.25 crore on the sixth day.
- According to the early trend report of Saknilk, ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has earned Rs 25 crore on the 7th day of its release i.e. on the first Wednesday.
- With this, the total earning of 7 days of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has now become Rs 316 crore.
Kantara Chapter 1 broke Kantara’s record
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ is printing hot notes. This film has created history by crossing the Rs 300 crore mark in India in just a week of its release. With this, by collecting Rs 316 crore in seven days, it has also left behind India’s lifetime net collection (309.64 crore) of Kantara released in the year 2022.
