Former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni has once again been seen swinging the bat on the field. Actually, he is currently in Madurai, where he came to inaugurate an international cricket stadium. Earlier, Dhoni’s fans gave a grand welcome at the airport, where slogans of Dhoni, Dhoni were raised. Dhoni also accepted the greetings of the fans. Meanwhile, a video of him has surfaced, in which he is enjoying batting in the new cricket stadium.
In the video going viral, people are standing around the pitch. MS Dhoni is batting there. Behind, a small child is keeping wickets, and Dhoni is seen swinging the bat vigorously. Dhoni was seen wearing black T-shirt and jeans. Let us tell you that this is the second international cricket stadium of Tamil Nadu.
This new ground has been named Velammal Cricket Stadium, which has been constructed by Velammal Education Trust in collaboration with Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. According to reports, Rs 325 crore has been spent in the construction of this ground and the stadium is spread over 11 and a half acres.
Currently, 7300 fans can sit together in the ground, but there will be a plan to increase the number of stands in the coming years, after which about 20,000 spectators will be able to sit in the ground simultaneously. A center of excellence, practice nets, high-class drainage system and modern flood lights have also been installed here. Ranji Trophy, IPL and Tamil Nadu Premier League matches can be played in it.

This will be the second largest cricket stadium in Tamil Nadu after Chepauk. Fireworks were also burst in the ground, which made the atmosphere pleasant.
