Maria Corina’s big statement about Trump
“I dedicate this award to President Donald Trump for his decisive support of the suffering people of Venezuela and our cause,” she said. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 to Maria Corina Machado for promoting democratic rights and fighting for a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.
This year’s Nobel Peace Prize was much talked about. Many countries like Pakistan, Israel, Russia, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Armenia and Cambodia had nominated the US President. This year, 338 nominations have been received for this prestigious award, which include 94 organizations and 244 people from different fields.
