BCCI Decision Impact On Vaibhav Suryavanshi: A big opportunity is slipping away from Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s hands. Vaibhav could have got a chance to play for Bihar team in this Ranji Trophy, but there are three slots vacant in the senior selection panel in Bihar Cricket Association (BCA). The Board of Control for Cricket in India has not appointed anyone on these posts. Unless BCCI makes appointments on these posts, then selectors will not be found to select Bihar’s Ranji Trophy team and until there are no people in the selection committee, Vaibhav Suryavanshi cannot be included in the team.
BCCI is not taking decisions
According to the report of Times of India, the official of Bihar Cricket Association said that we have requested BCCI to fill these three vacant posts. BCA General Manager Neeraj Singh said that a general meeting was held on September 29 and this matter was discussed in this meeting, but we have very little time. BCCI can recruit the vacant posts in the selection committee in the next 2-3 days.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi out of the team?
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been looking in great form for the last one year. The next season of Ranji Trophy for Bihar is starting from 15th October. If he is not admitted to the selection committee of BCA, then Vaibhav Suryavanshi will not get a chance to play in Ranji Trophy this time. Vaibhav scored 104 runs in 62 balls in the Test match against Australia in his Under-19 debut. With this he became the player to score the fastest century in Test for India. At the age of 14, Vaibhav made his debut for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025 and in IPL too, he became the fastest Indian player to score a century in 35 balls.
