There will be no scope for irregularities in the Group C examinations for government jobs in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has taken a big decision to ensure transparency and fairness, now the examinations will be telecast live. The Commission will keep a direct eye on every activity of the examination centres.
Apart from this, the attendance of the candidates will now be taken at the gate of the examination center itself, so that there can be no irregularity inside. The new master plan prepared by the Commission this time is aimed at ensuring that no such mistake is repeated in the future like the one that happened in the recent examination, after which there was huge uproar across the state.
Jammer will be checked before every exam
The Commission has paid special attention to technical security in the new system. Now jammers will be checked in every examination center a day before the examination. If any jammer is found defective, it will be replaced immediately. This step has been taken because last time during the graduation level examination, 4G jammers installed at some centers could not block the 5G network, due to which the network signal reached inside. The Commission has taken this shortcoming of the jammer very seriously and has called an important meeting on 27th and 28th October this month to solve it.
Strict security arrangements at examination centers
Now the security at every examination center will be more strict than before. Security personnel will be deployed at the center one night before the examination. The trial of the jammer will also be held a day before the exam and if any technical problem is found, changes will be made immediately.
Apart from this, joint inspection of the entry and exit gates of the examination centre, height of walls and security of the premises will be done by the team of police and magistrate. Commission Chairman G.S. Martolia said that the responsibility of jammer location, security arrangements and other preparations will be on the Sector Magistrate, Examination Center Coordinator and Supervisor. They will have to submit a detailed report after every examination.
Biometric attendance will be done at the gate
This time the attendance of the candidates will be taken at the gate of the examination center itself. The process of biometric attendance and checking will be completed at the gate itself. Now no outsider, no matter which department he belongs to, will be able to go inside the examination centre. Only the candidate and the center supervisor will be able to enter. Even if someone has to go inside for any special reason, he will have to go through a strict checking and permission process.
Monitoring will be done through live telecast
The biggest and special initiative this time is the live telecast system. The Commission will monitor the activities of every examination center from its main control room. This control room will be built in the office of the Commission. Live feed from every center will be sent to the Commission so that any suspicious activity or technical glitch can be detected immediately. This system will not only increase transparency, but immediate action can also be taken in case of any irregularity.
