Haryana’s famous singer and dancer Sapna Chaudhary performed a concert in Korba, Chhattisgarh, in which a case of misbehavior with her has come to light. Actually, on the night of 13 October, Sapna Choudhary was misbehaved during her concert at Jashn Resort in Korba. During this time, the miscreants broke the door of his room after drinking alcohol and it is alleged that they also threatened to kill him. Now let us tell you under which sections the police takes action in this case and how much punishment can be given if found guilty in such cases.

Misbehavior and use of force with a woman can be punished under this section!

In fact, misbehavior and abusing a woman comes under the category of a serious crime and if charges of this crime are framed then a case can be filed under serious sections of BNS. The first section that the police can use is BNS- 74. Under this section, crimes like assaulting a woman with the intent to outrage her dignity, causing harm to life and property and using force are punished. Under this section, whoever attacks a woman, uses criminal force or even attempts to outrage her modesty can be punished with imprisonment of at least one year and a fine. However, in serious cases it can be extended up to 5 years. This is a non-bailable offense and this case can be heard by any judge to bring flexibility.


These sections can be imposed on threat of death

Let us tell you that for threatening to kill someone or creating an atmosphere of fear and insecurity, action can be taken under Section 351 of BNS. But the question arises that when does this section or BNS 351 (1) (2) (3) (4) come into force and if so, what is the punishment. First of all, when the complainant files an FIR, the first section under BNS is mentioned in the FIR. After this, proceedings take place in the court under these sections in which the accused can be punished with imprisonment of up to 7 years and heavy fine.

Creating chaos after drinking alcohol can result in punishment under these sections

A case can be registered under section 355 of BNS for entering someone’s private property while intoxicated and creating disturbance. Under this section, if any person, in an intoxicated state, creates disturbance in any private property or public place where entry is prohibited and causes problems to the people living there or present there, then Section 355 of BNS is applicable in such cases. In such a situation, if the allegation is proved then simple imprisonment can be imposed which is at least 24 hours. Apart from this, a fine ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 1000 may have to be paid.
