Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav and his wife Chanda Devi joined RJD on Thursday (October 16, 2025). On this occasion, Tejashwi Yadav told the media that people recognize and know Khesari Lal Yadav not only in Bihar but in the entire country. He is a great artist. Apart from being a great artist, he is also a good human being and a social worker.
What did Tejashwi Yadav say?
Tejashwi Yadav said, “He (Khesari Lal Yadav) has taken blessings from the National President (Lalu Yadav). He is joining the party today. Along with us, our sister-in-law is also present here. She is also taking membership of the party.” On this occasion, RJD State President, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, MP Misa Bharti were also present.

With Khesari Lal Yadav joining RJD, it has been decided that he will contest from Chapra seat. His manager Sonu Pandey has confirmed this to ABP News.

Whole Bihar wants change: Khesari Lal
On this occasion, Khesari Lal Yadav said that you people have seen what Tejashwi Yadav has done in 17 months. Today I am associating (with the party) publicly in front of everyone but I have always been a part of this family in my heart and soul. I am a younger son of the family. Got love from Rabri Devi, Lalu Yadav, Misa Bharti. He further said that today not only me but the whole of Bihar wants change. I am also involved so that I can contribute to this change.
