According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, ‘Thama’ is the most expensive film in Maddock’s horror comedy universe. Due to the way VFX has been used in the film, the budget of the film has reached Rs 125 crores. The cost of print and promotion can be around Rs 20 crore. In this way, the total budget of ‘Thama’ seems to be around Rs 145 crore.

Quoting sources in the report, it is written – ‘Stree 2 was made on a budget of Rs 125 crore including print and promotion. The budget of Thaama is about Rs 20 crore more than Stree 2, and producer Dinesh Vijan is betting on Rashmika and Ayushmann to bring in the audience. He believes in the magic of content, which is why he has invested so much money and now he is hoping that the lead actor will attract the audience on the first day.

‘Thama’ has been directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in lead roles in the film. The film will be released in theaters on October 21, ‘Thama’ will clash with Harshvardhan Rane’s film ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ at the box office.
