Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has released the list of its candidates for Bihar Assembly elections 2025. The party has announced its candidates for a total of 143 seats. In this list released under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav, priority has been given to youth, women and minority groups. RJD has made Mukesh Roshan its candidate from Mahua who will contest against Tej Pratap Yadav.
However, one name in the RJD list is making a lot of headlines, that name is Mala Pushpam, who has been given ticket by RJD from Hasanpur assembly constituency located in Samastipur district. Let us tell you that this is the same seat from where Lalu Yadav’s elder son and former Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav had won the last election. This time RJD has given tickets to 18 minority candidates and 24 women candidates. The party has described it as a symbol of social harmony and representation. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav will once again contest elections from Raghopur seat, which is considered his traditional stronghold.
Who got the chance from where?
RJD has made former Union Minister Jai Prakash Yadav its candidate from Jhajha. At the same time, six-time MLA Lalit Yadav has got the ticket from Darbhanga Rural. Bhola Yadav, who is considered very close to Lalu Prasad Yadav, will contest from Bahadurpur seat. Former Assembly Speaker Awadh Bihari Chaudhary will be the RJD candidate from Siwan. Osama Shahab, son of late Bahubali Shahabuddin, has got the ticket from Raghunathpur seat, which has become a topic of discussion. Apart from this, Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav has been made the candidate from Chapra, making the election contest there very interesting.
Mukesh Roshan will contest elections from Mahua seat
Party’s chief spokesperson Shakti Yadav has got the ticket from Hilsa seat. At the same time, Alok Mehta has been made the candidate from Ujiarpur. Mukesh Roshan has been declared a candidate from Mahua seat, where he is likely to face Tej Pratap Yadav.
RJD gave place to families of powerful leaders
RJD has also given place to the families of powerful leaders. Kaushal Yadav from Nawada, Veena Devi, wife of Suraj Bhan Singh from Mokama and Reet Lal Yadav from Danapur have been given tickets. While sharing the list of candidates on social media platform ‘X’, RJD congratulated all the candidates and extended best wishes for victory. He said that this election will be the election of new direction and expectations of Bihar.
