Rohit Sharma has completed 1000 ODI runs against Australia in Australia. He has become the first Indian to do so. He made this record in the second ODI between India vs Australia in Adelaide. In this match, captain Shubman Gill was out after scoring 9 runs while Virat Kohli was out for zero. Virat ‘ducked’ out for the second time in a row.

Rohit Sharma had scored only 8 runs in the last match, when he had 998 ODI runs against Australia in Australia. He needed only 2 more runs today, and by doing so he created history. He has become the first Indian to score 1000 ODI runs against Australia on Australian soil. Even greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly could never do this.
