The application process for recruitment has started online and interested candidates can apply till October 28, 2025. The examination will be conducted on November 15 and 16, 2025.

To apply for these posts, candidates must have the required degree in the relevant field. For Senior Resident or Resident Pathology, MD, MS or DNB degree is required, whereas for the posts of Medical Officer and Lady Medical Officer, MBBS degree is required.

The maximum age of the candidate has been kept at 30, 37 or 45 years according to the post. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation as per rules. OBC category will get three years relaxation and SC/ST candidates will get five years relaxation.

The application fee has also been fixed differently according to the category. SC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500, while for all other categories the fee has been fixed at Rs 1000. Candidates will have to deposit this fee through online mode only.

The registration process will be completely online. For this, candidates will first have to go to the official website of Government Medical College and Hospital www.gmch.gov.in. Click on the “Apply Online” link given on the home page and fill the required information.

After this, upload the scanned copies of all the documents related to your educational qualification and experience. Pay the application fee and then check all the information carefully before submitting the form. After completing the application, keep a printout of it safe with you, which will be useful in the further process.
