Shoaib’s elder brother has passed away, which has been confirmed by the former cricketer himself. Shoaib’s elder brother’s name was Shaheed Akhtar. There was a lot of love between the two brothers and Shahid helped his younger brother a lot in his early cricket career, due to which he came to the national team and then made a name for himself across the world.

Shoaib Akhtar gave the news of the demise of his elder brother Shahid Afridi through social media. The screenshot of his post is also going viral on social media. Let us tell you that Shoaib’s social media page is banned in India, along with Facebook, Instagram and X, his YouTube is also banned in India.
Shoaib wrote, “With great sadness I am informing you that my elder brother Shahid Akhtar has passed away. He has returned to Allah. You will be informed about the time and place of Namaz-e-Janaza.”
