Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is in the news these days about his upcoming film ‘Bhoot Bangla’. In this film, which is being released on 17 April 2026, once again the audience will get to see the flavor of horror-comedy. Meanwhile, he has shared an incident related to his life, which is from the early days of his career and he was dreaming of his first house. In this conversation, he told how his mother Aruna Bhatia’s thinking completely changed his perspective.
Akshay wanted to buy a 2 BHK flat
During the promotion of his film ‘Bhoot Bangla’, Akshay told that when he first thought of buying a house, his dream was very small. He wanted to buy a small 2 BHK flat with his own money, which was a big deal for him at that time. But his mother said that instead of thinking small, one should think big. Initially Akshay did not understand this, because according to him that dream was right and he could fulfill it. But his mother’s words changed his thinking and he started dreaming of a 5 BHK house.
Akshay also told that his mother always said that the first house should be for one’s heart and not just for investment. He believed that a person should buy his first house in such a way that his dreams and hard work are clearly visible. Akshay admitted that if his mother had not inspired him to move forward in this way, perhaps he would not have been able to think so big.
