Under this scheme, the state government provides financial assistance of Rs 5000 per acre to the farmers in the first season of every crop season, be it Rabi or Kharif. That means, twice a year this amount is sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers. The special thing about this scheme is that it is not a loan of any kind, but is a complete grant. Farmers do not need to return this money. This amount goes directly into the accounts of the farmers through DBT, due to which the process remains transparent and fast.

Through this scheme, farmers get money even before doing farming. With this, they can meet their needs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor on time. Due to timely investment, there is no delay in sowing of crops and the possibility of better production increases.
