New date: Now this canceled examination will be conducted again on June 5.
Number of Examination Centres: This examination was being conducted at a total of 135 centres.
Source of leak: The paper went viral just before the commencement of the examination from a private college in Noida.
evidence: In Ghaziabad, slips containing answers to questions were seized from students even before the examination.

How was it revealed?
These days semester examinations are going on in AKTU, one of the largest technical universities of Uttar Pradesh. In this series, the examination of the sixth semester of B.Tech third year was to be held. 135 examination centers were made for this in the entire state, where thousands of students came to appear for the paper. However, shortly before the commencement of the examination, information about the paper leak was received, which created a stir in the university administration.

Paper went viral from Noida
According to the information, the main center of paper leak is considered to be a college in Noida. In fact, just before the exam time started, the question paper started going viral on social media and students’ WhatsApp groups. At first it was considered a rumour, but when the viral paper was compared with the real question paper, both were found to be identical.

Students caught red handed in Ghaziabad
The paper leak was confirmed when small slips were found from some students during checking at some examination centers in Ghaziabad. These slips had written the exact answers to all the questions which were going to appear in that day’s paper. It became clear that not only was the paper leaked, but its answers had also been solved and sent to the students.

How does the system work and where did the mistake occur?

After this incident, the question is arising that despite such tight security, how did the paper leak? In fact, in view of security, AKTU administration never sends papers printed several days in advance to the centres. According to the rules, the paper is sent to the examination centers through digital or secure means just 12 hours before the commencement of the examination. A center superintendent is appointed at every examination center, who has the ‘ID and password’ to open the papers sent by the university. In such a situation, suspicion is being raised that the administration or center superintendent of the college in Noida from where the paper went viral may have a hand in this matter.
