Recently, Arijit Singh’s team issued a statement and rejected the rumors of his comeback, saying, ‘He is only completing those projects which were finalized before the announcement of his retirement. Arijit is not making any comeback in playback singing. These are his old commitments, which he is fulfilling.

While thanking his fans, he had said that he will no longer sign new Bollywood projects, but as soon as the song ‘Yeh Awarapan’ from Emraan Hashmi starrer film ‘Awarapan 2’ was released, fans felt that Arijit had taken back his decision.
When will ‘Awarapan 2’ be released?
Talking about ‘Awarapan 2’, this film is the sequel of Emraan Hashmi’s superhit and cult action-drama film ‘Awarapan’ released in 2007. Actors like Disha Patani, Suvinder Vicky, Atul Kumar and Shabana Azmi will also be seen in it. The film is being directed by Nitin Kakkar. Whereas, Vishesh Bhatt is the producer of the film. The film is going to be released in theaters worldwide on 14 August 2026.

Emraan Hashmi is again making a comeback as his popular character ‘Shivam Pandit’ through ‘Awarapan 2’. The story of the film will revolve around the further journey of ‘Shivam Pandit’, pain, love, regrets and the world of crime. Like the first film, this will also be an emotional action-romantic thriller.
