There is great news for the youth dreaming of government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. Now the opportunity has come for lakhs of candidates who have been waiting for recruitment for a long time. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission i.e. UPSSSC has started the application process for Combined Subordinate Services Main Examination 2026. Through this recruitment, a total of 2285 posts will be appointed in different departments of the state.
As soon as the news of recruitment comes out, enthusiasm is being seen among the youth. The special thing is that the application process has been kept completely online, so that candidates will be able to apply sitting at home. Interested candidates can fill their form by visiting the website of the Commission.
Only those candidates who have passed the PET-2025 examination will be able to apply for this recruitment. The Commission has made it clear that the selection for the main examination will be done on the basis of normalized score of PET.
You will get jobs in many departments
Through this recruitment, recruitment will be done on many important posts. These include posts like Assistant Treasury Accountant, Auditor, Amin, Executive Officer, Clerk, Assistant Consolidation Officer, Assistant Manager, Center Incharge and Mandi Supervisor.
Which candidates will get the chance?
The Commission has clearly said that only the candidates appearing in PET-2025 will be selected for the main examination. Candidates who have scored very low marks in PET or whose score is very weak will not get a chance for the main examination. However, some candidates whose results are still under verification have been allowed to apply on a provisional basis. The final decision will be taken only after the commission’s investigation.
Which department has the maximum number of posts?
If we talk about posts, the maximum recruitment has been done for the post of Assistant Treasury Accountant. A total of 548 seats have been kept for this post. After this, there will be recruitment on 419 posts of Auditor and 323 posts of Amin/Auctioneer. Recruitment will also be done on 238 posts of Executive Officer, 229 posts of Clerk and Accounts Clerk and 168 posts of Assistant Consolidation Officer.
Reservation was also taken care of
The Commission has also decided the distribution of seats for different categories. 1030 seats have been kept for unreserved category. Whereas 421 posts have been reserved for Scheduled Castes, 49 for Scheduled Tribes, 563 for Other Backward Classes and 222 for Economically Weaker Section i.e. EWS. This has increased the hope of candidates from different categories getting equal opportunities.

This much is the application fee
A major feature of this recruitment is that the application fee has been kept very low. The fee has been fixed at only Rs 25 for all categories of candidates. This will also provide relief to financially weak candidates.
Forms can be filled till 18th June
According to the information released by the Commission, the last date for application has been fixed as June 18, 2026. At the same time, if there is any mistake in the application form, then the candidates will be able to make corrections in it till June 25, 2026.

Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Commission. Details of PET-2025, educational qualification and necessary documents will have to be uploaded during the application.
