There is great news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Bihar. A golden opportunity has opened for those interested in computer and technical work. Patna High Court has started the application process for recruitment to the posts of Technical Assistant (Group-C) from 01 April 2026.
This recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 53 posts. Interested candidates can apply till 30 April 2026. The last date for depositing fees has been kept as 02 May 2026. This means that candidates have enough time to submit the application and fees, but it would be better to fill the form on time to avoid the rush in the last days.
Required educational qualification
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have ITI or Diploma in subjects like Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics and Communication. This degree should be from a recognized institute.
age limit
The minimum age to apply has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 37 years. Reserved categories like SC, ST, women and disabled candidates will also get age relaxation. Therefore, candidates who are concerned about the age limit can see the benefit of relaxation as per their category.
How will the selection be done?
The written examination will be of 100 marks and its duration will be two hours. In this, questions related to general awareness, reasoning, mathematical ability, English and computer will be asked. To pass the exam, it is necessary to score at least 40 percent marks. Candidates successful in the written examination will be called for skill test and then interview.

To apply, all candidates will have to pay registration fees. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 1100 and SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs 550. Fees will be deposited through online mode.
How much salary will you get?
Candidates selected for the post of Technical Assistant will get a salary ranging from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300 every month. This salary along with a government job is being considered quite attractive for the youth. Along with this, other allowances will also be given as per the rules.
