The wait for the results of class 10th board examination 2026 conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education is about to end. According to media reports, CBSE can release the result today i.e. on 15 April 2026. This year more than 25 lakh students had participated in the examination and everyone is very curious about their result.
Expected date of release of result
CBSE class 10th result is likely to be released today, 15 April 2026. Although no official confirmation has been made by the board regarding the result time, but based on the trend of previous years, it is expected that the results will be declared today itself. Students are advised to keep an eye on the official website regularly.
When were the examinations held
This year, CBSE class 10th examinations started from 17th February 2026 to 11th March 2026. More than 25 lakh students took part in these examinations conducted at various examination centers across the country. Since the completion of the examination, students and parents are eagerly waiting for the results.

This year’s new arrangement
This year CBSE has implemented a new system to give an extra chance to the students. Now students can appear in the second board examination to improve their marks. This examination will be conducted between 15th May to 1st June 2026. Students can improve their marks in maximum three subjects, which will give them an opportunity to get better results.
Digital marksheet and other facilities
After the release of the result, students can download their digital marksheet through DigiLocker. This marksheet is completely valid and can be used at various places. Apart from this, students can also check their result through UMANG App.
