This is also considered to be Xi Jinping’s first foreign trip in the year 2026. This tour is being seen as a strategic need of China. Xi Jinping last visited Korea in 2019, when talks between North Korea and America regarding nuclear disarmament had failed. The increasing closeness between Russia and North Korea has increased China’s concern. During the Russia-Ukraine War, relations between Russia and North Korea have become stronger than before.
