The statement of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has come after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the introduction of a bill in Parliament with stringent provisions against NEET paper leak. He says that the ‘most stringent step’ to be taken by the government against irregularities in the examination will be the removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka, reacting to the Prime Minister’s statement, said, ‘Modi ji, remove Dharmendra Pradhan tomorrow. This is the most stringent action you can take. Apart from this, Cockroach Party founder Abhijeet Deepke also reacted to Prime Minister Modi’s announcement.
Deepke shared a picture on social media platform X, in which a person is seen closing the gate of the unwalled compound. This is being seen as a sarcasm on the proposed law. Prime Minister Modi had said on Thursday that after getting approval from the Union Cabinet, a bill with stringent provisions against paper leaks will be presented in Parliament next week.
‘The accused were arrested and sent to jail’
He had said that after the allegations of NEET question paper leak came to light, the government has taken several steps, which include arranging for fast-track courts. He also said that the people responsible in the case have been arrested and sent to jail. PM Modi released a video late at night and said that the draft prepared for the formation of fast track court will be discussed in the cabinet on Friday.
Opposition attacks Modi government
Even after PM Modi’s announcement of formation of fast track court, the opposition is attacking the Modi government. The opposition demands that Dharmendra Pradhan should be removed and those who beat the students should be punished. Amidst all this, students and a large number of youth are standing at Jantar Mantar.
