Class 12 Result Rechecking: After the result 2026 for CBSE 12th students, a big and relief news has come out. Students who are not satisfied with their marks or feel that there is a mistake in their copy can now check their answer sheet. CBSE has started the post-result process, which will give students an opportunity to understand their marks and get corrections if necessary. This process has been started only a few days after the results are declared, so that the problems of the students can be reduced and transparency can be maintained. The board says that the purpose of this entire process is to take right decisions in the interest of the students.
CBSE said that there may be a mistake, but it will be rectified
CBSE Controller of Examination Sanyam Bhardwaj said that the board works with complete honesty and transparency. He said that about 1.25 crore answer sheets are checked, so there could be a possibility of a mistake somewhere. But if any mistake comes to light, it is immediately rectified. CBSE believes that students should be given full opportunity so that they can understand their copy and if there is any wrong marking, it can be corrected. This step has been taken to strengthen the confidence of the students.

The entire process will be done in two phases, know the dates
This time CBSE has divided the entire process into two phases. In the first phase, students can apply for a copy of their checked answer sheets. This window is opening from May 19 and will run till May 22. After this, students will be given a scanned copy of their copy, which they can check carefully. Students can check each of their answers against the marking scheme and if they find any mistake, they can note it.
Marks review and last chance for improvement
In the second phase, students can apply for verification and revaluation of their marks. This window will be open from 26th May to 29th May. During this time, if any student feels that there is a mistake in his copy, he can lodge an objection. CBSE has said that if any mistake is confirmed by the team of experts, it will be corrected immediately. This entire process is to give justice to the students and ensure the right value of their hard work. This will not only provide relief to the students, but will also strengthen their trust in the board.
