If you too have not given the CUET UG 2026 exam or your score is less than expected, then you do not need to be disappointed. Delhi University has made available some such admission options for such students, through which they can get admission in some courses even without CUET score.
Admission to most of the graduate courses in the regular colleges of Delhi University is done on the basis of CUET. But there are School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) and many certificate courses, where CUET score is not necessary.
Admission will be given on the basis of 12th marks
Students are selected for admission to SOL mainly on the basis of 12th marks. Many courses are available here including BA, B.Com, BBA, Bachelor of Management Studies. This is considered a good option for students who have not been able to take admission in regular college.
NCWEB only for girl students
Girl students living in Delhi can also take admission through NCWEB without CUET. Here, admission to courses like BA and B.Com is given on the basis of marks in ‘best four’ subjects of 12th.
CUET is not required even in these certificate courses
Apart from foreign languages like German, French, Spanish and Chinese, many colleges of Delhi University also offer professional certificate courses like Digital Marketing, Data Science. CUET score is not required for admission to these courses. Some courses offer seats on the basis of merit and some on first come, first serve basis.

how to apply?
For admission in SOL and NCWEB, students will have to apply online separately. Whereas for certificate course, one will have to apply directly to the concerned college. Keep 12th mark sheet and other important documents ready at the time of application.
When will the applications start?
Applications for these admission processes usually start in the last week of June or July. Therefore, students should keep a constant eye on the official website of Delhi University, so that they do not miss any update related to application, merit list and counselling.
