When vegetables are kept in polythene and kept in the fridge, the movement of air inside them stops. Because of this, moisture starts accumulating and bacteria start growing rapidly. Green leafy vegetables spoil even more quickly. Vegetables look fine from outside, but from inside they start rotting. Many times people eat these vegetables without knowing, due to which the taste of food deteriorates and also affects their health.

Eating such spoiled or rotting vegetables can gradually affect the body. Problems like stomach ache, gas, food poisoning can arise. The biggest concern is that by being in contact with plastic, microplastic particles can also get mixed in the food, which can cause harm to the body in the long run. This effect is not visible immediately, but gradually weakens the body.
