Ganga Expressway Inauguration: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Ganga Expressway to the country in Hardoi today. The Uttar Pradesh government is developing this project as an expressway cum industrial corridor model. Its objective is to connect road infrastructure with industrial development. Ganga Expressway has been designed as an Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Cluster (IMLC), making it not just a road project but an industrial development corridor.
If we talk about this expressway, it is total 594 kilometers long and 12 industrial nodes are being developed along it. About 6507 acres of land has been identified for this. Each node has been designed according to its location and industrial potential, so that activities related to manufacturing, warehousing and logistics can increase here.

About 987 investment proposals have been received so far under this scheme. An investment of about Rs 46,660 crore is expected from these. This investment is expected to come mainly in manufacturing units, logistics parks, warehousing and agri-processing sectors.

- Meerut: 10 km, 529 acres
- Hapur: 54 km, 304 acres
- Bulandshahr: 2,798 acres (largest cluster)
- Amroha: 74 km, 348 acres
- Sambhal: at 100 km, 591 acres
- Badaun: at 189 km, 269 acres
- Shahjahanpur: 255 km, 252 acres
- Hardoi: at 282 km, 335 acres
- Unnao: 422 km, 333 acres
- Rae Bareli: 517 km, 232 acres
- Pratapgarh: at 555 km, 263 acres
- Prayagraj: 601 km, 251 acres
Balanced development in 12 districts, Hardoi will become a major center
This corridor will directly connect 12 districts, which will reduce regional inequality. Especially in districts like Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli and Pratapgarh, industrial activities will increase rapidly. This will lead to a big increase in employment and economic activities at the local level.

The focus of the Yogi government is no longer limited to just road construction, but to give impetus to the economy of the state by linking it with industrial development. The IMLC model being developed along the Ganga Expressway is a key part of this vision, which is a strong step towards making Uttar Pradesh a major manufacturing and logistics hub of the country.
