Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has filed an application in a special court in Mumbai, seeking permission to surrender in the firing case at Salman Khan’s house in 2024. He has said in his application that it is necessary to do so to join the legal proceedings and ensure a fair hearing.
Anmol Bishnoi wants to surrender in Salman Khan firing case
Anmol Bishnoi has said in his application that he wants to voluntarily surrender before the Mumbai court so that he can “face the ongoing trial in the interest of fair trial and justice and participate in the judicial proceedings.” Let us tell you that Anmol Bishnoi is currently lodged in Tihar Jail of Delhi. He was arrested by the National Investigation Agency or NIA in connection with the alleged terror-gangster nexus linked to the syndicate of his elder brother Lawrence Bishnoi.
Anmol further wrote in the application, “Even though he is already in judicial custody in the NI case, he cannot physically appear before the Mumbai Court until proper instructions are issued. Therefore, he has sought a production warrant for the jail authorities so that his surrender can be formally recorded and appropriate remand proceedings (be it physical or virtual) can be conducted.”

What is the matter?
It is noteworthy that this case is of April 14, 2024, in the morning firing was done outside ‘Galaxy Apartments’, the house of superstar Salman Khan in Bandra area of Mumbai. Two assailants riding a motorcycle allegedly opened fire and then fled. Later, Mumbai Police registered a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act and alleged that the attack was carried out at the behest of the Bishnoi network. After this, the police took action and Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi was deported from America in November 2025 and on reaching India, the NIA arrested him in connection with the investigation of the alleged terror-gangster network.
