Chennai Super Kings has termed the news of trading Hardik Pandya as wrong. A recent report claimed that a total of 7 teams are showing interest in bringing Hardik into their team. It was told that CSK’s name is also included in these seven teams. But according to RevSportz, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Vishwanathan gave clarity on the situation and said that the news being spread about Hardik is not true.
According to RevSportz, Kasi Vishwanathan said that Chennai Super Kings has not even started its season review session yet. All aspects will be considered after the end of the Major League Cricket (MLC) season, which will end on July 18. CSK CEO clearly said that all the rumors regarding Hardik Pandya are lies.
It was being claimed that 7 franchises including Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals had shown interest in Hardik Pandya. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have also not taken any decision regarding Hardik yet.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders were said to be the frontrunners in the race to get Hardik Pandya. For the time being, CSK has distanced itself from Hardik’s trade, but the suspense regarding such a trade deal remains till the end.
Talking about Hardik Pandya, he was traded by Mumbai Indians to Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024. After that, Hardik has captained MI for three seasons, but the team’s performance was disappointing all three times. In the last 3 seasons, MI team could reach the playoffs only once.
