RBI told the difference between real and fake notes
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) takes very good care of its customers. In such a situation, he also keeps making customers aware through his social media. Now recently RBI has shared a post through its official X (Twitter) account. In this post, the Central Bank has mentioned a special feature to identify the genuine note of Rs 500.

  • These microletters ‘Bharat’ and ‘INDIA’ are on the shawl fold of Mahatma Gandhi.
  • Microletters RBI will be seen on the frame of Mahatma Gandhi’s spectacles.
  • Microletter RBI500INDIA will be visible on the left side of the bank note.

RBI has also told in this post that if there is any issue related to the identity of the note or the note, then you can go to the RBI website for its verification and enquiry. If you have also received a note and it is difficult for you to identify whether it is real or fake, then identify the note with this technique of RBI.
