Himachal Pradesh government has taken a big decision on long pending financial benefits of employees. On the instructions of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, orders have been given to immediately release 30 percent of the outstanding amount of gratuity and leave encashment for Class IV employees who retired between January 1, 2016 to January 31, 2022 or died during service. This decision will provide direct relief to thousands of employees and their families.

According to the government, the first, second, third and fourth installments have already been paid under the interim relief to the employees of this period. Along with this, dearness allowance was also given in 12 installments on basic pension and family pension. Now with the release of the remaining 30 percent amount, the total dues will almost be completed, due to which the employees will be able to get their long pending money.
