‘I have no role in theft of Ram temple offering’, Champat Rai also gave a big statement on Tinnu Yadav during interrogation

Former general secretary of the trust Champat Rai has given a big statement in the case of alleged theft of offerings in Ram temple of Ayodhya. In the scam case, SIT recorded the statement of Champat Rai, in which he clearly denied any involvement in theft of offerings. Champat Rai has told the police that as soon as the theft case came to his notice, he immediately became active. The suspects have been caught on his own instructions.

For your information, let us tell you that the 8 people against whom FIR was lodged and arrested in the case of theft of Ram temple offering, all of them were connected to Champat Rai in some way or the other. In such a situation, Champat Rai was also interrogated by the police for about three hours. Responding, Champat Rai said that it was his own responsibility for all the decisions in Ram temple, but many things have gone wrong. He accepts this.

‘There was no expectation that Tinnu would do anything wrong’- Champat Rai

When Champat Rai was questioned about accused Tinnu Yadav, he told that Tinnu was associated with him for a long time. He never had any idea that Tinnu could do something like this. However, Champat Rai definitely said that he was the first to know about this and it was he who got the first arrest done after talking to the police.

Anukalp Mishra was arrested a few days ago. Referring to this, Champat Rai told that when he got the information, he coordinated with the police and got the initial investigation done and got Anukalp Mishra arrested.

How were appointments made for the responsibility of offerings?

SIT also asked Champat Rai that on what basis were these people appointed? In response, Champat Rai said that there were many parameters of appointments but he alone is not responsible for it. He was given the job on the basis of the advocacy of many people. Champat Rai has admitted that the offerings were stolen, but has denied any direct role.
