The big innings that were awaited throughout the tournament came from the bat of Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the most important match. In the final of the triangular series played between India A and Sri Lanka A, the 15-year-old batsman batted explosively and turned the match in favor of India in the initial overs itself. Thanks to his record-breaking innings, India A won by 66 runs and won the title.
Despite not being able to play big innings in the league stage and being in controversies in the last match, Vaibhav did not feel any pressure in the final. He trusted his plan and played naturally. The young batsman scored 94 runs in just 29 balls and during this time he also made a new record in List A cricket by scoring a half-century in 11 balls.

Vaibhav, who was chosen Player of the Match after the match, said that his entire focus was on implementing his plan in the first 10 overs. He admitted that he was not able to implement his strategy properly in the initial matches of the tournament, but after talking to the coach, he corrected his mistakes.
Thanks to Vaibhav’s explosive batting, India A added 132 runs in just 9 overs. Later the team made a huge score of 377 runs for 9 wickets. In reply, Sri Lanka A team was all out for 311 runs in 47.1 overs.
India A captain Tilak Verma also praised the team’s spirit. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka A captain Sahan Arachchige admitted that Vaibhav’s innings had put his team under pressure from the very beginning.
