Gill played a historic inning of 154 runs, Ishaan scored 125 runs. For Afghanistan, Nangelia Kharote took maximum 4 wickets and Rashid Khan took 3 wickets.
After losing the toss and coming to bat first, the Indian team got its first blow in the very second over. Yashasvi Jaiswal was caught out on the ball of Mohammad Salim after scoring 4 runs. After this, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill made a partnership of 87 runs for the second wicket, Rohit missed his half-century. He was bowled by Rashid Khan, Rohit scored 48 runs in 39 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 6 fours.

After this Shubhman Gill completed his 150 runs. He has become the 7th captain of India to score 150 runs in ODIs. Nangelia also ended his historic innings, Gill scored 154 runs in 110 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 22 fours.

When Ishan was out, India’s score was 320 in 36.3 overs, it seemed that from here India could reach 460-470, but the Afghanistan bowlers made a slight comeback after this. Kharote sent KL Rahul to the pavilion on zero, he also dismissed Shreyas Iyer. Vice-captain Iyer scored 26 runs in 24 balls.
