KKR vs LSG Super over IPL 2026: Captain Rishabh Pant admitted after the defeat to KKR on Sunday that Lucknow Supergiants need a break. With the fifth consecutive defeat, LSG reached the bottom of the points table. LSG has faced a total of six defeats in eight matches so far.

What was the reason for the defeat in the super over?
KKR had given a target of 156 to LSG by scoring a total of 155 runs in 7 wickets and 20 overs. LSG was finding it very difficult to face KKR. However, Mohammed Shami hit a six on his last ball to reach 155 runs, which gave another lease of life to LSG and the match turned into a super over.
